Pro Football Hall of Fame, Smith+Nephew extend partnership through 2028

COMPANY NAMED ‘OFFICIAL JOINT REPLACEMENT AND SPORTS MEDICINE PARTNER’ OF HALL

The Pro Football Hall of Fame and Smith+Nephew, a global medical technology company, today announced an extension of their strategic partnership.

Under this renewal, Smith+Nephew will continue in its role as the “Official Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine partner” of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

As part of the renewed partnership, Smith+Nephew will continue to play a prominent role at the enshrinement week festivities, including bringing its interactive booth to the Hall of Fame’s Sugardale Fan Fest, where Hall of Famers will make appearances. Smith+Nephew will also be the presenting sponsor of the Hall of Famer Walk – the Enshrinement Week event during which all returning Hall of Famers walk along George Halas Drive in Canton before taking their annual group photo on the steps of the museum.

A perfect embodiment of the partnership, the Hall of Famer Walk showcases the achievements of the Gold Jacket recipients and Smith+Nephew’s mission to restore movement to patients.

Smith+Nephew’s impact will extend beyond being identified as the Official Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine Partner of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Activation at “Salute to Greatness” golf events also has been added to the deeper relationship. Smith+Nephew will organize walks with local doctors, clinics and patients to promote the benefits of treating joint pain. These walks with Hall of Famers will take place on Sunday mornings during tournament weekends prior to the parings party. The first walk will take place June 14 in Dallas.
