Maximising performance, from every angle

The TANDEM System was developed to offer the flexibility of bipolar and unipolar hip arthroplasty trialling approaches.

  • Bipolar: An easy-to-assemble design3 with an average pull-out strength of approximately 400lbs4 (28mm femoral head). Pre-assembled poly components are designed to minimise micro-motion, backside wear and rotational/axial movements
  • Unipolar: Conversion sleeves allow bipolar trial shells to be converted to unipolar shells for surgeons who prefer unipolar prostheses in partial hip replacement
