The TANDEM System was developed to offer the flexibility of bipolar and unipolar hiparthroplasty trialling approaches.
- Bipolar: An easy-to-assemble design3 with an average pull-out strength ofapproximately 400lbs4(28mm femoral head). Pre-assembled poly components aredesigned to minimise micro-motion, backside wear and rotational/axialmovements
- Unipolar: Conversion sleeves allow bipolar trial shells to be converted to unipolarshells for surgeons who prefer unipolar prostheses in partial hip replacement
