30 October 2025
October is globally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In recognition, women’s wellbeing has taken center stage at our sites through our value pillars of Care, Collaboration and Courage. From Kuala Lumpur (MY) to Watford (UK), our colleagues have hosted events, shared stories, and created safe spaces for learning, support, and empowerment.
Here’s a look at how we marked this important month…
Raising awareness
Pink was a colour of choice for the month with many teams donning magenta outfits to honour those affected by breast cancer. An array of rose-coloured goodies was on offer, such as beautiful flowers and delicious cupcakes in Dubai.
Education
Events focused on cancer symptoms, menopause, mental health and other topics showcasing the wellness challenges faced by women and providing a safe space for open discussions. In Warsaw, one of our very own team members shared her personal journey of overcoming breast cancer, while in Hull, several local charities visited our team to share information and signpost to local services.
Many sites took part in local community events organised to mark Breast Cancer Awareness month and raise funds for charities connected to battling the disease. Kuala Lumpur’s Starfish Foundation Run and Memphis’s Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk were among the events that our teams took part in, putting their best foot forward for a great cause.
We’re proud to put our pillars in action to raise awareness, educate and make a difference for women’s health this month.
