PERI-LOC White Papers and Clinical Research

Does Insertion Torque Affect the Mechanics of Locking Hole Inserts and Fatigue Performance of Bridge Plate Constructs?

Jacob Cartner, Adam Messina, Charlie Baker, Thomas A Russell, Paul Tornetta III, William M Ricci

The purpose of this investigation was twofold: first to evaluate fatigue performance of locking plates instrumented with locking hole inserts (LHIs), and second to determine if increased insertion torque improves performance.
