"I first got into medical devices by working as an administrator for a small medical devices distributor, before moving into a sales role. I joined Smith & Nephew on the recommendation of a friend who already worked for the company and spoke very highly of it.

"Working in Advanced Wound Devices, every day varies and I get exposure to multiple specialisms from Obstetrics to Plastics, which keeps the role interesting!

"A normal day can involve running training sessions, meeting with doctors and consultants, planning for future meetings and responding to clients’ questions.

"There have been so many highlights in this role. It’s nice to win of course, but what really stands out for me is seeing the difference that the product makes to patients. I also had the opportunity to watch some of the most renowned surgeons in the world performing some very complex surgeries. That was an amazing experience!
