The first robotic platform for revision knee arthroplasty

Revision knee arthroplasty is a growing burden on operating room teams, with procedure volumes projected to rise substantially in the years ahead.1 Already one of the most demanding procedures in orthopaedics, revision TKA can require more than twice the workload of a primary knee replacement because surgeons must manage bone loss, compromised anatomical landmarks, and ligament insufficiency.2,3,4,5

CORI REVISION KNEE Arthroplasty changes the status quo and shifts the paradigm in revision knees by6:

  • Prioritizing joint line restoration over mechanical methods – from a canal-dictated to a joint-line based reconstruction3
  • Mapping and defining the knee without the need for CT or MRI imaging by building a 3D model of bone surfaces
  • Quantifying real-time, full range of motion gap assessment to inform implant placement and soft tissue balancing6
  • Visualizing defects in intra-operatively to support augment planning and to preserve normal joint line3,7
  • Reducing burden on surgeon and staff without comprising performance8
