Dr Reid Brown (US) discusses the suitability and performance of unicompartmental knee arthroplasty in his practice, including criteria for choosing the right procedure and comparisons to total knee arthroplasty. He explains how UKA can be done as an outpatient procedure and how modern techniques have improved outcomes.
