Recorded at the Smith & Nephew Satalite Symposium at the EWMA meeting, May 2017.

Jane Hampton presented the final clinical and health economic data from a recent international, multi-centre real world study on the use of PICO, a single use Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (sNPWT) device, to kick-start healing in stalled wounds.

Jane also shared appropriate strategies for ‘stepping down’ from sNPWT to advanced wound care dressings at the right time for the patient and their wound. Data from a recent audit will also be presented, which demonstrate how ALLEVYN™ LIFE can reduce the frequency of dressing changes to help manage wound care resources most efficiently.
