The BBA aims to promote, for the benefit of the public, the study of burn injury, therapy, prevention and rehabilitation. To achieve this purpose, the BBA is in close liaison with many other organisations shoring similar objectives.

A national charity providing free help, support and information for children (and their parents) and adults who have any sort of disfigurement with the aim of building effective coping strategies and self- confidence. Also works with healthcare professionals, schools and others to promote awareness about disfigurement and its effects. 

The Skin Camouflage Service that was run by the British Red Cross since 1974 was handed over to Changing Faces in 2011 and continues to run in over 140 clinics throughout the UK by trained volunteer Practitioners. Consultations are free at the point of delivery and Changing Faces are happy to see anyone who thinks they might benefit from the service. Health Professional Referrals are needed in most parts of the country.

Cosmetic Camouflage
