In addition to providing an effective solution for cortical blowouts, this feature offers a variety of benefits to surgeons:

Reduced surgical time - reconstruction procedures using the XTENDOBUTTON ◊ device only require one primary drill that can be used for the entire distance of the femoral tunnel.

More options for revision procedures - allows surgeons to adapt to a variety of possible intraoperative complications seen in revision cases.

Low profile fixation for pediatric cases - outside-in drilling to avoid growth plates is now possible, eliminating the need for a washer and resulting in a lower profile fixation.
