 Compression therapy:

“the cornerstone of therapy for

venous leg ulcers”
3

• A higher compression level is better than a lower level of compression. Some compression is better than none4

• Four-layer bandaging systems have been shown to be more effective in healing venous leg ulcers than a short stretch bandage5

Multi-layer Compression Systems

Pressure is applied in layers, providing an accumulation of pressure, increasing the stiffness to achieve highest compression at the ankle. Suitable for patients with mobile or fixed ankles.
A multi-layer compression bandaging or hosiery systems developed to apply sustained graduated compression for the management of venous leg ulcers and associated conditions.
