Video Information

In this video, Mr Andy Williams argues why a bone-patella tendon-bone graft is the best graft to use in an ACL reconstruction case. He also states when he may prefer to use a hamstring tendon graft or a quadriceps tendon.

He prefers to use a bone-patella tendon-bone graft in elite footballers, cases with MCL laxity, revision cases, loose knees, hyper-extenders and those with 'ribbon reconstructions'. He shows how he performs a graft ACL reconstruction procedure with a surgical video.
