Video Information

In this video, Dr Faucett discusses meniscal and radial root tears and their clinical evaluation, patient selection and diagnosis, and post-operative rehabilitation. He summarizes in saying that medial meniscal root tears are quite common and play a significant role in osteoarthritis. He concludes that repairing these meniscal root tears has the greatest impact on outcomes and that the repair should be protected for 6 weeks with a knee immobilizer and limited weight bearing.
