Video Information

In this video, Dr Della Valle discusses how to diagnose and identify infection in a hip revision arthroplasty case. He concludes that a diagnosis can be difficult to make, however an ESR/CRP should be essential to all pre-op TJAs and aspiration with a cell count will help make the diagnosis for the surgeon in 90% of the cases.
