Video Information

This presentation highlights the risks of radiation from fluoroscopy use. Dr Sanders then explains the options and varied alternatives used in recent history to aid distal targeting when nailing. This discussion culminates with an explaination of the TRIGEN™ SURESHOT™ system, which uses an electromagnetic field generator, not radiation to assist accurate distal targeting.

This video was recorded during the Smith & Nephew Intramedullary Nailing Instructional course, Milan, Italy 30 June – 1 July, 2016
