This complex foot and ankle trauma and deformity instructional course will equip foot and ankle specialists with knowledge on how to treat complex cases of the foot and ankle using internal fixation as well as external fixation.

This combined instructional course has been designed to address the broad scope of conditions the foot and ankle surgeon will encounter. This truly comprehensive programme will be led by an expert faculty. The program will explore the range of surgical interventions through a series of lectures and case discussions and includes hands-on training.

An important part of the course will involve the discussion of cases brought by the delegates. These cases are presented by the delegate showing the pre-, per- and post-operative images with an invitation to the audience to participate in a “what to do now” discussion. The chairmen will support the case discussions by asking additional questions to the audience. We ask the delegates to bring one or two cases from their own practice.
