With the number of total joint revision arthroplasties forecast to increase significantly over the mid to long term, the demand for this type of highly demanding surgery is building.
To address the complexities of such revision, Smith & Nephew is planning a new highly interactive forum aimed at those already experienced and skilled in revision arthroplasty and wishing to broaden that experience.
The format is intended to be predominantly case-led with a high degree of interaction facilitated by allocating participants into discussion groups within the programme.
Three sessions over two half-days will transition from a hip to a knee focus with an intervening symposium highlighting the main concern of infection.
