The Code of Conduct and Business Principles incorporates our values of performance, innovation and trust, and sets out the principles that our employees and third parties are expected to follow in all aspects of business.
Any actual or perceived breach of the Code of Conduct and Business Principles or related policies should be reported to the Company. Reports can be made to the Company’s Legal, Compliance or Human Resources departments, management, or via the Company’s Integrity Line. Smith & Nephew does not retaliate against employees who make reports in good faith.
Any report received through any of the above avenues is routed through the relevant Compliance Officer for review and investigation. The Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Legal Officer have visibility of all reports of misconduct, and escalate those considered to be serious violations to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Ethics and Compliance. All investigations are conducted in line with compliance investigation guidelines.
