Global Wound Academy

Global Wound Academy (eGWA)

The eGWA is an online website where you can study and experience the world of Wound Management.  The modules will start with the basic principles of physiology and progress to Advanced Wound Care.  In addition to the modules, we offer interactive patient studies which enable you to assess, diagnose and treat patients based on their medical history and the results of the clinical tests.

You can register as an individual user and track your own learning history or sign on to the institution feature that provides you the opportunity to create your own learning environment within the e-Global Wound Academy.  You will have the ability to manage your own institution by uploading your own educational materials and run reports to track progress.

In-Servicing / Education

In-Servicing/Education

If unit to unit in-servicing will meet the needs of the healthcare professionals, we will provide short in-person in-services where a review of a new product can be accomplished using a hands-on approach.

We can also provide train the trainer product in-servicing for the wound care leaders or educators to support them with the knowledge they need to be a resource for the wound care products.

Education sessions can be organized to promote the need for healthcare professionals to understand when medical devices and treatment options are appropriate for certain patients and the correct techniques for use of these devices.
